Movement & Stillness

A Vinyasa & Yin Workshop

 Saturday 4th Feb, 12.30-2.30pm

Like yin & yang, ha & tha, night & day, movement needs stillness, and stillness needs movement to be in balance. The aim of this workshop is to achieve something of this balance.

Expect a strong vinyasa flow will get the body and breath moving, will build heat, and focus the mind ready for a still meditative practice of Yin. Yin yoga involves longer held postures that focus on asserting controlled weight on the joints. This draws Prana or Chi deep in to the connective tissue to create healthy, juicy and mobile joints. This is a calming and deep practice that involves an element of meditation.

So come and get moving, rinse out and ground back in to your body and breath, so you leave feeling refreshed and revitalised.

Suitable for those with some yoga experience. Please book in advance and bring a mat.

Workshop: Breathe

Saturday 31st March 9.30am-12.30pm

So many of us live our lives rushing from one thing to the next, & forget to breathe! By forgetting to breathe, we forgo the incredible healing properties of the breath; we lay down a powerful self inquiry tool; & we forget to be in the present moment.

This workshop will involve gentle breath work, self inquiry, & a vinyasa yoga practice that will build in intensity to create heat and deepen the breath. Through this, the intention is to tune in & connect with a deeper understanding of ourselves, & to start the transition of power from the mind & emotions that rule so many of us, and make space for a calmer, more centred you to come forth.

Suitable for those with some yoga experience. Please bring a mat and a journal.
